imagesAs you continue to travel to Valdez, stare in awe at the Worthington Glacier, a 5,774-acre valley glacier found adjacent to Thompson Pass. Thompson Pass holds the honor of being the snowiest place in the state, during the peak winter of 1951-1952, it had more than 80 feet of snow!

Arrive early evening at your Valdez hotel, nestled between the waterfront and mountains, giving it the nickname, Alaska's Little Switzerland.

After you have checked into your room, join your co-travelers for a Welcome Reception.

Enjoy dinner on your own this evening.

Day Three:

After an included breakfast in the hotel, enjoy time exploring the quaint community of Valdez. Visit the Valdez Museum and Historical Archive, a museum where people can learn, engage and explore the material evidence of the world through historical relics, artifacts and art.

Check into your Fairbanks hotel and enjoy dinner on your own this evening.

Day Five:

Enjoy leisure time in the downtown area for shopping and to have lunch on your own.

Return back to the hotel and enjoy dinner on your own. (An optional dinner choice for this evening is an authentic Salmon bake.)

Day Six:

After an included breakfast in the hotel, board the motor coach and travel south to Denali National Park. Enjoy an afternoon of exploring this pristine area at your leisure by either participating in a complimentary park service activity or optional tour.
