Day One:

Fly into Anchorage, Alaska's largest city. Transfer via hotel courtesy shuttle and overnight in Anchorage (or purchase meet/transfer service).

Enjoy dinner on your own this evening.

Valdez AlaskaDay Two:

After breakfast in the hotel, board a deluxe motorcoach for today's grand adventure to Valdez. Drive through the Matanuska Susitna Valley where world record monster size vegetables grow in the 24-hour daylight. Stop by Worthington Glacier for a look at this gigantic piece of ice.

Arrive early evening in Valdez, nestled between the waterfront and mountains, giving it the nickname, Alaska's Little Switzerland.

Check into your Valdez hotel and enjoy a complimentary welcome reception.

Enjoy dinner on your own this evening. (Breakfast)

Worthington GlacierDay Three:

After breakfast in the hotel, enjoy time of leisure exploring the quaint community of Valdez with an included admission to the Valdez Museum.

Late this morning, board a glacier and wildlife cruise and travel through the majestic Prince William Sound. Explore the three-mile face of the mighty Columbia Glacier and hear tales of the region as told by the Alaskan crew. Keep your eyes open for seals, sea lions, otters, whales, and puffins throughout this half-day exploration cruise with an included lunch.

Return back to the hotel and enjoy dinner on your own this evening. (Breakfast and Lunch)

Alaskan PipelineDay Four:

After breakfast in the hotel, board the motorcoach for a journey north to the largest city in the interior, Fairbanks; better known to Alaskans as the Golden Heart City. The route takes you along the Wrangell- St. Elias National Park, the largest park in the U.S. and the Trans-Alaska Pipeline.

Check into your Fairbanks hotel and enjoy dinner on your own this evening. (Breakfast)

Day Five:

After breakfast in the hotel, learn how the gold rush affected Alaska’s interior on a sightseeing tour with an included visit to the Fairbanks Museum. Enjoy leisure time in the downtown area for shopping and to have lunch on your own.

After lunch, experience the thrill of river travel aboard a sternwheeler as you cruise on the Chena River. Travel back to the time when traditional riverboats plied the waterways of Alaska’s interior during the late 1800’s.

Return back to the hotel and enjoy dinner on your own. As an option you may want to purchase the authentic salmon bake. (Breakfast)

DenaliDay Six:

After breakfast in the hotel, board the motorcoach and travel south to Denali National Park. Enjoy an afternoon of exploring this pristine area at your leisure by either participating in a complimentary park service activity or optional tour. There are many to choose from including mild or wild-river rafting, flight seeing, a jet boat safari on the Nenana River or a visit to an Iditarod champions award winning dog kennel.

Check into your Denali hotel and enjoy dinner on your own this evening. (Breakfast)

Day Seven:

After breakfast in the hotel, board the motorcoach and travel deep into Denali National Park on the Tundra Wilderness Tour and search the pristine wilderness for bear, moose, caribou, and sheep. This tour is approximately eight hours and includes a snack box dinner and hot beverage.

Return back to the hotel. (Breakfast and Snack Box)

Alaskan Black BearDay Eight:

After breakfast in the hotel, board the coach and travel to the town of Talkeetna.

Watch for a glimpse of the majestic Mt. McKinley or black bears along the banks of the Susitna River.

Enjoy time on your own to explore this quaint Alaskan town. This afternoon your journey continues south to Anchorage by rail in Deluxe Dome Railcars.

Check into your Anchorage hotel and enjoy dinner on your own this evening. (Breakfast)

Day Nine:

After breakfast in the hotel, enjoy a city tour of Anchorage. Visit the Alaska Native Heritage Center, a gathering place that celebrates, perpetuates and shares Alaska Native cultures.

Tonight, share stories of your Alaskan adventure with your traveling companions at an included farewell dinner. (Breakfast and Dinner)

Day Ten:

Your adventure comes to an end with a courtesy shuttle transfer to the airport. (Breakfast)
