An Amazing Adirondack Adventure

Packages Offered: Spring, summer and fall
Tour Length:
3 Days/2 Nights

The Adirondack Region is one of the most diverse destinations on the East Coast, offering unparalleled outdoor recreation throughout its dazzling lakes, wild mountains, and charming towns and villages. Established in 1892 by the State of New York amid concerns for the water and timber resources of the region, the Adirondack Park today covers an area larger in size than New England, and more expansive than Yosemite, Yellowstone, Glacier, Grand Canyon and the Great Smoky Mountains National Parks combined, and is the largest park in the lower 48 states. Encompassing millions of acres of public, constitutionally protected forest preserve, as well as privately owned land, the Adirondack Park – in a word – is epic.

Zip through trees, crawl through caves and set out on a horseback adventure. Discover what it means to become part of an adventure story centuries in the making.

Day One:

Arrive mid morning at Adirondack Extreme in Bolton Landing, NY. Experience 2-hours of adrenaline filled fun, as you zip, wobble and swing into action on the largest aerial tree top adventure park in the United States.

After your challenging adventure, board the coach and travel deeper into the Adirondacks to Tupper Lake, home of the Wild Center. Enjoy your lunch on own.

otterPrepare to walk on the “Wild Side.” Arrive about 2:00 pm at the Wild Center and embark on Wild Walk, a trail across the treetops. You will be put at bird’s eye level of some of the Center’s most fascinating and elusive wildlife. Peer through glass walls for an underwater view of trout, turtles and playful otters in the “great camp”, peer at goldfinches, blue jays and dozens of other types of birds flocking to surrounding bird feeders. Explore a four-story hollow pine from the perspective of a burrowing squirrel or owl via a spiral staircase. Sit in the full-size bald eagle’s nest and look across the forest that stretches as far as you can see.

Depart the Wild Center about 4:00 pm and travel to your all-inclusive Ranch Resort where you will arrive about 5:30 pm. Start your visit with an included ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET DINNER. After dinner, check into your rooms and get settled in. Gather for a beachside bonfire. (Weather permitting)

Day Two:

Start your day with an ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET BREAKFAST, served from 8:00-10:00 am. Depart the Ranch about 9:30 am and travel to the Natural Stone Bridges and Caves. The massive stone bridge arch, the largest marble caves entrance in the east, dominates this spectacular display of Adirondack geology. Unlike the slow forming limestone caverns, these marble caves were rapidly formed during the last ice age by an unusual East-West trending fault which exposed a layer of ancient marble to raging acidic floodwaters from melting glaciers. Get out on a self-guided, ¾ mile, mostly above-ground, natural stone step nature trail and experience up-close the many unique rock features in the marble gorge, such as potholes, grottos and mill site waterfalls. Descend into lighted surface caves with raging waterfalls or tranquil dark pools. Depart the Caves about noon and travel back to the Ranch.

paddle-1376885_640Return to the Ranch about 12:30 pm and gather for an ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET LUNCH, served from 12:30 – 2:00 pm. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy the many included activities that are part of your package. Available to you are activities such as Horseback Rides, Volleyball, Kickball, Paddleboats, and a 1-hour Guided Pontoon Boat Fishing Trip (poles and lures are provided on the guided Pontoon Boat Fishing Trip.) There are also Kayaks, Row Boats, Tennis Courts, Hiking Trails, Game Room (with arcade games and an air hockey table) and an Exercise Facility. Lifeguards are on duty at both the pool and beach. There is something for everyone!

An ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET DINNER is served at the Ranch followed by an outdoor movie. (shown inside if the weather is inclement.)

Day Three:

roller-coaster-1664083_1280After an ALL YOU CAN EAT BREAKFAST BUFFET (served 8:00 -10:00 am) at the Ranch, pack your bags, tidy your rooms and check out. Before you arrive home, you have one more adventure ahead. Arrive at 10:00 am and visit at Six Flags, The Great Escape and Splashwater Kingdom, for a day of thrills, chills and laughs on their world-famous rides. During your visit, lunch is included at the Park’s concessions, via voucher.

Depart the Park by mid afternoon.
