VA beach 2Virginia Beach is a resort city with miles of beaches and hundreds of hotels, motels and restaurants along its oceanfront. Every year the city hosts the East Coast Surfing Championships as well as the North American Sand Soccer Championship, a beach soccer tournament. It is also home to several state parks, several long-protected beach areas, three military bases, a number of large corporations, two universities, International headquarters and site of the television broadcast studios for Pat Robertson's Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), Edgar Cayce's Association for Research and Enlightenment and numerous historic sites. Near the point where the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean meet, Cape Henry was the site of the first landing of the English colonists, who eventually settled in Jamestown, on April 26, 1607. The city is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as having the longest pleasure beach in the world.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg (formerly known as Busch Gardens Europe and Busch Gardens: The Old Country) is a 383-acre theme park, originally developed by Anheuser-Busch (A-B)and currently owned by SeaWorld Entertainment, a division of Blackstone Group. The park opened on May 16, 1975, adjacent to Anheuser-Busch's brewery and near its other developments including the Kingsmill Resort complex. The park is themed around various European countries.

The park was originally called Busch Gardens: The Old Country, reflecting the European theme. In 1993, the park was renamed Busch Gardens Williamsburg before briefly being named Busch Gardens Europe in 2006 until it returned to the Williamsburg name in 2008. In addition to its landscaping and European theme, Busch Gardens is widely known for its roller coasters, including Griffon, Alpengeist and Apollo's Chariot, which won No. 4 best steel coaster in 2012 from the Golden Ticket Awards.

Day One:

Arrive at your Virginia Beach hotel located right on the boardwalk late afternoon.

After you have settled in, head out for an included dinner at Beach Breaks Burgers and Shakes, known for the best burgers in all of Virginia Beach! After dinner, head down to the boardwalk, take a walk on the beach and dip your toes in the ocean. Return to the hotel for a swim in the indoor pool.

Day Two:

Busch GardensAfter breakfast in the hotel, board the coach and travel to Busch Gardens Williamsburg, where you will arrive at late morning. The day is yours to enjoy all of the amazing thrills and performances for which this park is renown. With world-class roller coasters, animal ambassadors that share our planet and incredible performances that happen on outdoor stages and in theaters, this park offers non-stop fun and adventure.

Your visit includes an “all-you-can-eat-in-an-hour” picnic lunch buffet and a dinner voucher redeemable at a variety of concessions within the park.

Depart Busch Gardens about 9:00 pm to return to your hotel.

Day Three:

Begin your day with a hot breakfast buffet served in the hotel. Then get ready to head to the beach, as this is your day to take in the sand, surf and boardwalk of Virginia Beach.

neptuneBikes and roller blades are available for rent, there’s plenty of sand to make your own castle or sculpture, stroll along the boardwalk and watch the sidewalk entertainers. If you want to take a break from the beach, visit some of the shops along Atlantic Avenue. Have lunch on your own at one of the many eateries that line the boardwalk. Make sure to gather for a group photo around King Neptune – a twenty-four foot, twelve-ton bronze statue that stands at the gateway to Neptune Festival Park on 31st Street and the most popular photo op in the area.

After a day on the beach, head back to the hotel to wash off the sand before you head out for the evening. Arrive at the Lynnhaven Mall, known as the best shopping mall in Virginia Beach. Enjoy time to indulge in the brands you love and take advantage of the great prices and sales. Dinner is included and served at a restaurant in the mall.

Return to the hotel after your visit to the Mall. Enjoy a swim in the indoor pool or walk across the street for a starlit stroll on Virginia Beach.

Day Four:

After breakfast in the hotel, tidy your rooms, pack your bags and check out. This morning you have the option to visit the beach for the last time or to explore the hottest shopping destination near the beach, 31 Ocean.

Depart Virginia Beach in the afternoon and start your journey home.
